Growing up in an equestrian family in Sweden, my first ever sailing experience was a transatlantic crossing! From there on, I never looked back. Many more crossings and 12 years later sailing and cooking on board superyachts and in luxury villas, it was time to put down roots and start a family in Mallorca. Starting Frey with Gemma was a natural extension of everything I loved about yachting — precision, passion, and people. Our platform is the evolution of that journey.
Co-Founder
I grew up sailing dinghies on Scotland's west coast and realized I wanted to be on the water for life during a visit to Antigua. Over the years, I've worked across private and charter yachts as a chef and interior manager. Frey was our way of bringing care and connection to yacht recruitment — and now our platform gives us the tools to offer that same value at scale. It's recruitment reimagined for today's mobile, fast-moving world.
